Publication Ethics
JRTP: Jurnal Riset Teknologi Pembelajaran is committed to maintaining the integrity and quality of scientific publications by adhering to high publication ethics standards. These publication ethics follow the guidelines from the Committee on Publication Ethics (COPE) to ensure that all parties involved in the publication process, including authors, editors, reviewers, and the publisher (Smart Edu Vision), act ethically and professionally.
Responsibilities of Authors
- Originality: Authors must ensure that the manuscript submitted is original and free from plagiarism. All citations or references must be clearly stated.
- Duplicate Publication: Authors should not submit the same manuscript to more than one journal at the same time.
- Acknowledgment of Sources: Authors must cite all relevant sources and references used in their article.
- Author Contributions: Only individuals who have made significant contributions to the research and writing of the article may be listed as authors.
- Conflict of Interest Disclosure: Authors must disclose any conflicts of interest that could affect the interpretation of the research results.
Responsibilities of Editors
- Publication Decisions: Editors are responsible for determining which articles are published based on journal policies and the recommendations of reviewers.
- Confidentiality: Editors must maintain the confidentiality of submitted manuscripts and should not disclose manuscript-related information to anyone other than the authors, reviewers, and the publisher.
- Fairness: Editors must ensure that each article is evaluated based on its content without discrimination toward the authors.
Responsibilities of Reviewers
- Confidentiality: Reviewers must maintain the confidentiality of the manuscript under review and should not use the information obtained for personal gain.
- Objectivity: Reviewers must provide honest, objective, and constructive evaluations of the manuscript.
- Conflict of Interest Disclosure: Reviewers should disclose any potential conflicts of interest and refuse to review manuscripts if they feel unqualified.
Responsibilities of the Publisher
- Publication Integrity: The publisher is responsible for ensuring that every article published has undergone a process consistent with ethical standards.
- Plagiarism Prevention: The publisher must use plagiarism detection software to ensure the originality of articles.
- Access Availability: The publisher ensures that all articles are freely accessible in accordance with the journal's open access policy.
